Sunday morning worship
What exactly is worship? In recent years, it's become almost synonymous with music, specifically singing. But is that all it is? Not by a long shot.
Worship is a heart setting. A lifestyle. A recognition of who we are and who God is, and our response to Him. This can take many forms: a silent moment between you and God, singing at the top of your lungs, prayer, receiving the teaching of the Word, serving in the nursery, greeting visitors, or any number of other things you might encounter in a church setting. But it doesn't stop there! Worship is a Monday - Sunday practice. Worship can be playing with your kids; doing your job well; appreciating the wonder of nature on a hike; crying out to God in times of sorrow; laughing over dinner with family and friends. Any of these things can be an act of worship if done with a heart directed to God and a spirit of humility and awe at who God is and what he's done.
Live in a spirit of worship throughout the week, and "do not forsake meeting together" (Hebrews 10:25) to encourage one another and worship corporately as the body of Christ. Join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 as we worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
Come as you are. We'd love to have you!
